To add a user to a folder:
Go to WesFiles on the web and navigate to the folder you want to edit.
Click on the gear icon at the right in the WesFiles address bar:
Choose “Permissions” from the menu on the left:
Click on “Add User/Group”
To add individual users, type their WEsleyan email addresses in the “Add [...]

On Tuesday July 22nd (5:00-8:00 AM), ITS will be moving to a new version of the WesFiles web interface. The noticeably different application design is easier to navigate in several ways, and the advanced upload feature makes it more convenient to move large files and folders into WesFiles.

Mac users of WesFiles should be noticing significant performance improvements. Thanks to some recent adjustments to the system, save times seem to be about 40% faster, and Finder navigation flows much more smoothly.

WesFiles is the new campus file-sharing system. We are now moving faculty and other academic staff to the new system. Students will be moved over Winter Break, and Administrative staff will be moved in the Spring (2008).

ITS has written a script to automate moving files from Dragon and condor into a user’s space on WesFiles. Desktop Support Specialists or Academic Computing Managers will run the script on behalf of Faculty and Staff.
Students’ files will be moved from Dragon and condor to WesFiles over Winter Break. There will be no action necessary [...]
