WesFiles makes it easy for you to contact all of the users who have individual-level access to a particular folder (or file). Go to WesFiles on the Web, navigate to the folder containing the shared folder, check the box to the left of the shared folder, and click on the “Email” button.

The next screen will present you with a formulaic email automatically addressed to all of your collaborators.

You can edit the email in a number of ways:
- You can remove recipients simply by editing the “To:” field.
- You can also add recipients by editing the “To:” field. WesFiles will automatically grant read permission to any new users you add in this way. In a separate step, you can then modify their permissions in any way you choose.
- You can edit the “Subject:” field.
- You can edit the message body, but you should not alter the table in the middle of the message. When you send the email, WesFiles will fill in that table with a link to the shared folder.
- You can check the box at the bottom so that you will get a copy of your own mail.

Click on “Send” in the lower right to send the message, or “Cancel” in the lower left if you have changed your mind.
You can use the email function to let people know where to find materials that you are sharing with them, that you have posted a new draft of a text, that an assignment is ready for distribution, etc.
Collaborators will probably want to add this shared space to their WesFiles favorites so that they can return easily whenever they wish.
